Neil Berg's 50 YEARS OF ROCK & ROLL -- CANCELLED
SAT, APR 4, 8 PM
Dear 50 Years of Rock & Roll ticket holder,
We regret to inform you that the performance by Neil Berg's 50 Years of Rock & Roll, scheduled to take place Saturday, April 4 at Jorgensen, has been cancelled, in an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our patrons is our utmost priority as the risk of contracting this virus grows daily. While we regret having to cancel, the decision was an informed one, as UConn has been working closely with the state Department of Public Health, the state Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, the Office of the Governor and the Eastern Highlands Health District. Effective Saturday, March 14, UConn has mandated no events larger than 100 people will be permitted on any campus, until at least April 6. This includes all events, meetings and performances.
"The university's goal is to dramatically reduce the number of people who are in close contact on our campuses, with their health and well-being in mind," according to UConn President Tom Katsouleas.
All ticket holders will receive a refund. The refund process is as follows:
- If you paid with a credit card, a refund will be issued to the credit card that was used to complete the purchase. If we are unable to refund that credit card, you will receive a refund check from the University.
- If you paid via cash or check, you will receive a refund check from the University.
- If you paid with a gift certificate, a replacement gift certificate will be issued.
- All refund checks and gift certificates will be mailed to the address we have on file.
There is no further action needed on your part. The box office will automatically initiate the refund process.
We ask for your patience during this period. This is a lengthy process that is not entirely handled internally at Jorgensen. If you would like further details regarding the refund process, please call the box office at (860) 486-4226.
Thank you for your understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused.
