Patrons seeking an accommodation at an event at Jorgensen should notify the Box Office when purchasing tickets. Please note, it is important to allow enough time for Jorgensen staff to coordinate your accommodation(s).

Handicapped Drop-Off and Parking

Handicapped patrons may be dropped off at the cutout on the sidewalk in front of Jorgensen on Hillside Road prior to parking your car. Best approach to the cutout is via Hillside Road from the south. Handicapped parking is available on the side of Jorgensen on Glenbrook Road, across the street from Jorgensen in the Admissions parking lot, and in the North Garage.

 

Accessible Van Service Available

Accessible van transportation from the North Garage and the main entrance to Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts can be arranged by calling 860-486-4991.

Return van service to the North Garage following the performance will also be available. 

Although these van services are provided at no-charge, a fee will be charged to park in the garage. 

Neither handicap parking placards nor advance ride reservations are required. 

The van service is available to all patrons. 
 

Special Seating

Handicapped seating is available on the main floor by informing the Box Office when purchasing tickets.
 

Rest Rooms

Wheelchair accessible rest rooms are located in the Jorgensen Lower Lobby. Elevator service is available from the Jorgensen Main Lobby to the Lower Lobby only. NOTE: There is no elevator service to the mezzanine or lower and upper balconies.
 

Assistive Listening System

Available free of charge from the Box Office.
 

Too Loud?

If the music is too loud, free hearing protecting is available upon request from the Box Office.
