Application and Audition Information

JOY! Conservatory Program

Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 JOY! Conservatory Program!

Application Deadline: Friday, June 5, 2026

The JOY! Conservatory Program is open to junior high and high school aged students in grades 8-12 who demonstrate talent, commitment, and/or financial need. Students may receive the scholarship for up to four years.

Accepted students must reapply each year to continue in the program.

Application Requirements

To apply, students must complete the following:

1. Submit the Online Application Form

2. Submit Video Auditions & Personal Statement 

NOTE: you will receive an email with specific instructions on how to submit your recordings AFTER your online application form has been submitted. Please be sure your email address on the application form is accurate and allow 3-4 days for processing. 

  • Prepare two contrasting pieces that best showcase your talent and musicianship. 
  • Upload separate videos for each piece. 
  • Submit a short video (1-2 minutes) explaining why you would like to be considered for this scholarship. 

3. Submit a Letter of Recommendation 

  • A teacher or musician familiar with the student’s abilities must submit a letter of recommendation. 
  • If you are currently taking private lessons, your private instructor must submit this letter.
