About the Gallery
The Jorgensen Gallery showcases visual art exhibitions that highlight creativity, experimentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration from artists across Connecticut and beyond. Located within the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, the gallery serves as a welcoming space for students, faculty, visiting artists, and community members to engage with contemporary artistic work throughout the academic year.
Exhibitions feature a wide range of media including painting, photography, sculpture, textile arts, digital installation, and mixed media works. The gallery also regularly hosts artist talks, opening receptions, and collaborative events connected to performances and academic programming across campus.
Gallery admission is free and open to the public during regular building hours unless otherwise noted.

The Jorgensen Gallery is located on the lower level of Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts.
Fall 2026 Jorgensen Gallery Hours:
- Monday–Wednesday: 10 am – 4 pm
- Thursday: 1 pm – 4 pm
- Friday: 10 am – 4 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed

The UConn School of Fine Arts’ Digital Media & Design (DMD) Department presents its 8th Annual BFA Senior Exhibition. In response to the department’s extraordinary growth, this year’s exhibition will include a day-long film and animation festival.
The Film & Animation Festival will take place on Saturday, April 25, at the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre, also in the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. The doors open at 10 a.m., with the first of four screening blocks starting at 11 a.m., ending at approximately 8 p.m. All events are free and open to the public (donations appreciated). Parking information can be found on the exhibition website.
The exhibition and festival feature the work of 59 BFA seniors from both the Storrs and Stamford campuses, spanning 2D and 3D animation, narrative and documentary film, game design, mobile apps, and web design.
